Key Notifications on Service Changes
In light of the current situation with COVID19, we are making our best efforts to serve you. We have introduced a few changes to our service operations.
Dear Customer, On account of the COVID -19 situation, Barclays Bank Plc is currently unable to service request pertaining to issuances of cheques books, and new debit cards and generation of GST invoices.
Additionally, the generation of your account statements for March 2020 has been delayed for both e-Statements and hard copy statements.
We request you to write to customerservices@barclays.com or your Relationship Manager if you want us to send you your account statement for March 2020 over e-mail. We assure you that we are taking all necessary steps to offer you uninterrupted banking services as soon as is possible.
We request your cooperation on this, and look forward to a continued patronage of our services.
Dear Customer, Due to the current COVID19 situation and lockdown, we understand that you may find it difficult to go to a Barclays Bank branch or an ATM for your cash related requirements.
While we urge you to stay safe, we know you may still require to withdraw cash to support your daily requirements. We wish to update you that we do not levy any charges for cash withdrawals from any Bank’s ATM.
However, please note, in case of transactions done through international ATMs, regular charges will apply. Further, charges for non-maintenance of average balance, as applicable to your account, have also been waived for the period of March 1, 2020 to June 30, 2020. We thank you for your patronage of our services and assure you of our continued support to manage your banking requirements.

The NEFT transaction facility shall be available on our Online Channels 24x7 on all days. Outward NEFT transactions approved between 12:30 AM and 10:00 PM shall be settled on the same day. Inward NEFT transactions shall be settled on same day.
The RTGS transaction facility shall be available on our Online Channels 24x7 on all days. Outward RTGS transactions approved between 12:30 AM and 10:00 PM shall be settled on the same day. Inward RTGS transactions shall be settled on same day.
After careful consideration and in response to the evolving communication landscape, we have decided to discontinue our facsimile transmission of communication channel for manual payment requests i.e. RTGS, NEFT, Internal Funds Transfer, Issuance of Demand Drafts and Payorders at Barclays Bank PLC in India. This decision is in line with our commitment to providing you with more efficient and secure ways to interact with the Bank. Effective 1st May 2024, we will no longer be able to send or receive facsimile communication. To continue serving you effectively, we encourage you to explore our alternative communication channels, including online banking and email. Should you have any query regarding this change, please do not hesitate to contact our branches.
